Awareness Raising Stalls

Every year the AIDS Action Council has stalls around the ACT selling red ribbons and raising awareness in the community about HIV around the world.
Keep an eye out for your nearest stall and donate generously. All money raised at these stalls is donated to the Trevor Daly Fund, which helps HIV positive people in financial stress.
As well as raising money the stalls aim to raise awareness in the community of the global and local impact of HIV/AIDS.
Ribbons and other awareness products will be available. Or you contact contact Mandi or Mick at 62572855 for more information.

Red ribbons

The Red Ribbon is the symbol of the community response to HIV, a way to publically show support for the community as well as an important source of fundraising. In the lead up to World AIDS Day on 1 December we are asking the community to help us to sell Red Ribbons in their business or workplace, and also to help us make these Red Ribbons.

Red Ribbon boxes are now available at Westlund House (16 Gordon Street, Acton, ACT) for your business or workplace – show your support! The boxes contain red ribbons and a collection box. If you have or know of a business that is willing to display a Red Ribbon Box or want to arrange a Red Ribbon morning or afternoon tea at your workplace during AIDS Awareness Week please contact Nick Nguyen on nick.nguyen@aidsaction.org.au or 6257 2855.
