World AIDS Day is a day to show support for people living with HIV and to commemorate people we have lost to the epidemic. World AIDS Day is recognised internationally with many countries marking the day with events to raise public awareness of HIV and AIDS care, treatment, research and prevention.This year's theme is: "No one left behind".

Living Positive Victoria in conjunction with our partners will host the Official Community Launch, with speeches from a range of guests followed by morning tea and lunch.

This event will provide an opportunity to gather as a community, show solidarity with people living with HIV, and remember those we have lost to an AIDS-related illness. The afternoon will included talks by some of the leading researchers, scientists and community advocates in the field of HIV research.
